"Few things can compare with the satisfaction of growing, picking and eating garden fresh vegetables. The rich taste of a sun-warmed, vine-ripened tomato or the crisp snap of a just-picked snow pea are just two of the many joys awaiting in your garden."

Yes..there are many places you can purchase seeds for your vegetables, herbs and plants, however, how do you know what you are getting.  How old are the seeds?  Have they been sitting around the store or warehouse awhile because they didn't sell last year?  Are they going to produce after you put your tender loving care into them?
At Russell's, you will never have to worry about  any of that.  We sell only current year seeds and from time to time, we will even conduct our own germination testing to verify the quality we sell.  All our garden seeds meet the highest quality standards.

SEED PACKETS:  We carry many varieities of seed packs for vegetables, herbs, fruits and plants, as well as many hard to find varieties!  Racks upon racks are located throughout the garden center. Browse and have fun as you select the veggies we have all come to enjoy, but maybe this year get a little adventurous and try something new.  It's fun watching plants come alive and grow, not to mention the pure gradification when you get to eat them knowing you grew them.  Also, gardening is a wonderful project for the entire family.

BULK SEEDS:  Buying your vegetable seeds in bulk saves money and lets you grow a bounty of produce at a fraction of the cost.  We sell many varieties of bulk seed and it all gets weighed according to your needs. For you convenience, we have placed a Seed Planting Chart you can print off that will give you the best times in Ohio to plant according to weather conditions and more information to help you with your gardening season.

Ohio on average has approximately 170 days between the last and first frost. Using the planting schedules will help you get the most out of your garden..
